Hey guys, I’m finally back after a couple months break, I know it’s no excuse but sixth-form and work life balancing is not as easy as it seems!
I wanted my first post back to be motivational (in light of the coming exams) and light hearted, so enjoy this mini blog re-launch.
I am around half way through a book called “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari”- by Robin S. Sharma and I have to say it really is one of those books that make you want to move mountains, cure famine, and search for enlightenment. But what I want to share with you isn’t a book pitch, it is some selected quotes I’ve come across so far that have managed to put me in a good mood almost instantly after reading.
1. .”Investing in yourself is the best investment you’ll ever make” – This is so applicable to every student preparing for exams during this time period, its all worth it guys (or so they say…)
2. .”Worry drains the mind of much of its power, and sooner or later, injuries the soul” – I have experienced this first hand and can vouch that this truly is right, less worry, more happy!
3. And for my favourite one : ” It is only when you have mastered the art of loving yourself that you can truly love others. It is only when you have opened your own heart that you can touch the hearts of others. When you feel centered and alive, you are in a better position to be a better person”
I know that reading such books helps me out of my hardest, darkest moments, and I hope that someone out there reading this, also has a small moment of inspiration and picks up such a book.
I have some exciting things planned for the next couple of weeks so I will try my hardest to keep you up to date on all things fun. In the meantime, follow my social media outlets for the behind the scenes on my next couple of shoots!
